It’s one of the highlights of the international historic racing calendars, the annual Goodwood Revival.
The event regularly attracts some of the biggest names in world motosport to drive classic cars of the past in some of the most keenly contested historic racing on the planet.
The sight of Le Mans legends, F1 stars and top Touring Car drivers let loose in Austin A40s and old Zephyrs is a sight to behold.
The St Mary’s Trophy for classic touring cars includes names like Jackie Oliver in a 1959 BMW, BTCC legend Steve Soper in a 1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Ti, and the amazing 1959 Ford Thunderbird in the hands of “Mr Le Mans” Tom Kristensen.
A field of 48 Austin J40s will contest the Settrington Cup while a large field of classic sports cars including, Jaguar E-Types, AC Cobras, a Ferrari 250GTO and a Corvette Stingray will contest the RAC British TT celebration race.
