Anybody that has watched In Pit Lane over the last two decades would be fully aware of my great passion for the world’s greatest motor race the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Thankfully over the history of the show I have been fortunate enough to attend the Circuit de la Sarthe on several occasions, and, greedy though it may be. I hold out hope that one day soon I will be able to return.
One event still on the very long bucket list though is the Le Mans Classic, a four day celebration of the rich history of the greatest race.
Held every two years, the Classic has grown to become a major event in its own right with over 100’000 attending.
Thankfully for those of us not lucky enough to be the the Pays de la Loire on a wonderful July weekend, Peter Autos, the promoters of the event are streaming 16 wonderful hours live with commentary from the team behind Radio Le Mans. The action starts 6:16PM AEST so crack open the champagne, fry up those crepes and enjoy the 2018 Le Mans Classic.
