In 2004 we went to the last Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or held at the famous Autodrome de Linas-Montlhéry, an amazing pre-war era banked oval just outside of Paris. Two years later we attended the first one held in Dijon, a vist made even more memorable for all the wrong reasons after I was the victim of one of the Garde du Nord’s infamous pickpockets and ended up there totally broke.
None the less both were amazing experiences and this year’s version is this weekend.
