Barnicoat Denies The Giz Pole At the Bend: Watch The Race LIVE

English driver Ben Barnicoat will start from pole for tomorrow’s second round of the Asian Le Mans Series at The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia.

Barnicoat who will share the Thunderhead Carlin Racing Dallara with Jack Manchester and Harry Tincknell. took the top spot with a 2:35.698.

Nick Cassidy, who will co-drive with Supercar star Shane Van Gisbergen and Daniel Gaunt will start from second position  in the Eurasia Motorsport Racing New Zealand Ligier.

Roman Rusinov in the G-Drive Racing by AOreca-based Aurus 01 Gibson, was third.

Davide Rigon beat Come Ledogar to pole position in GT ranks with a 2:56.109 to make it a Ferrari one, two in GTE with Jens Klingmann’s BMW M6 GT3  third a further 1.5 seconds back.

LMP3 went to the Nielsen Racing Norma M30 Nissan of Colin Noble.

The livestream of the inaugural 4 hours at The Bend will start Sunday at 1PM AEDT with the race scheduled to start at 1:30.
