It seems a cruel title for an historic race meeting, with many “historic” drivers, including our own John Bowe, but the OldTimers Grand Prix at the Nurburgring is one of the best historic racing meetings in the world.
Bowe will be reunited with his famous Group A Volvo in the DTM Classics class, which will also feature the brutal but brilliant DTM cars of the 80’s 90’s and early 2000’s.Fellow Aussie Bill Cutler will also be racing in his Group A BMW M3.
After a taking a short break from the Nürburgring, the British Masters racing series with its Formula 1 racing cars (Masters Racing Legends) has announced its return for 2025.
Further highlights include the Historic Grand Prix Car Association (HGPCA front engine) from Great Britain with its F1 and F2 cars, the Grand Prix series from the 1930s to the 1960s in thrilling races, the FHR series with its sports cars and GTs, and a special treat for all Porsche fans with the historic Porsche one-make cup celebrating the climax of its debut season in 2025.
Once again Saturday’s main race will be the evening race for two-seater racing cars and GTs up to 1965, accompanied by a magnificent fireworks display to coincide with the finish.
