Watch Australia’s Luis Leeds representing his country in the first FIA World Motorsport Games from the Vallelunga circuit in Italy.

The new competition features karting, drifting, Esports, F4, GT and TCR with Australia entered in three of the six disciplines, with Leeds in Formula 4, Brenton and Stephen Grove in GT, and Cody Nikola Latkovski in Esports.

The games are the latest brain fart from the geniuses at the FIA and as such will probably be totally forgotten about by this time next year.

The F4 competition will see the debut of an even MORE expensive car, this time with hybrid power.

Leeds is one of the more experienced drivers in the F4 field so should be in with a very real chance of a win.

Hopefully the event will help his career and not be another huge financial drain to compete in a made for media confection that will be ignored by pretty much everybody apart from those taking part, and the various FIA officials who will no doubt be happily living la bella vita.
